Did these edited movies ever come to light?

Yes. New Line released edited versions of “The Mask” “The Bachelor” “Blast
from the Past” and “Lost in Space.” The sales exceeded their
expectations. One recent title New Line released on DVD in an edited
version is “Martian Child” starring John Cusack and Amanda Peete.

Now, we work behind the scenes with several studios that send us early
screeners so we can advise them of any concerns we have so they can edit
the films before their release.
